Form new advisory bodies

  • Current advisory bodies have a long history of support for the LNT model in spite of contradictory evidence.

  • Even if they recognize the evidence belatedly, they would lack credibility if they now claim low-dose radiation reduces cancers.

  • Therefore, new advisory bodies need to be formed to take a fresh look without the legacy of support for the LNT model.

  • Reports from such advisory bodies can help allay fear of low-dose radiation, and discredit and defund current advisory bodies.

Hence, we need to create:

  • One or more new advisory bodies to summarize health effects of low-dose radiation

  • One or more new advisory bodies to make recommendations regarding regulations and policies

  • Additional new advisory bodies to provide recommendations on individual issues
